No-Cook Labneh Mezze Board with Pistachio Dukkah and Hot Honey
No stove or fire needed. Strain thick yogurt into labneh at home, then at camp crush a quick pistachio dukkah in a zip bag, stir up hot honey, and spread the labneh on a board with olive oil, dukkah, honey, crisp vegetables and pita. It takes about 25 minutes of hands-on time and serves 6.
Labneh is strained yogurt, thick and tangy like a soft cheese. Spread it on a board, scatter it with a crunchy nut-and-spice mix called dukkah, and drizzle it with hot honey. It looks like something from a restaurant, and nothing at camp gets cooked.
The work happens at home, where the yogurt strains in your fridge for a day. At camp you just crush, stir, slice and spread. It's a good snack for the end of a driving day, when you want something special without lighting a thing.
